turning raw cotton into roving :
bales of cotton from local farms
the cotton is fluffed and impurities removed
and turned into batting
the batting is fed into a machine that makes it into thick roving
which is then wound here
then hand fed into machines turning it in into finer gauge roving for hand spinning
